School Uniform
Autumn and Spring Term Uniform
- Grey trousers or tailored shorts
- Grey waist skirt, knee length (no split skirts)
- Grey pinafore dress, knee length
- Red V neck pullover or cardigan with school logo
- Plain white school shirt/blouse
- School tie (available from The Uniform and Leisurewear Company)
- Grey, black or white socks
- Thick tights (red, grey or black)
- Sensibly styled flat black shoes (not trainers or boots)
NB: Although autumn/spring uniform is preferred, pupils are able to wear their summer uniform during the first half term.
All children MUST be in autumn / winter uniform when they return at the end of October.
Summer Term Uniform
- Red V neck pullover or cardigan with school logo
- Grey tailored shorts
- White polo shirt
- Red gingham dress with set in sleeves
- Sensibly styled flat dark shoes (not trainers or boots)
- No open toed sandals
Accessories
- Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 - Broughton book bag (provided by FOBS in Reception)
- Children in Year 3 - Broughton rucksack (provided by FOBS in Y3, not mandatory for years 4, 5 and 6)
- School water bottle in house colour
- Neutral (black, white, brown, cream) or red bobble. Small gingham scrunchie.
P.E. Kits
- T-shirt in house colour with school logo
- Loose fitting black shorts (not cycling or other tight shorts e.g. Nike Pro)
- Black pumps or sports trainers (no specified colour)
Additional items:
- Sweatshirt in house colour
- Sports socks (black, white or house colour sports socks)
- Black tracksuit bottoms (small logo only – no stripes or large motifs)
- Black plain leggings (small logo only – no stripes or large motifs)
- Football boots and shin pads
Hair
Long hair should always be tied back with a neutral (black, white, brown, cream) or red bobble. Small gingham scrunchie can also be used.
Hairstyles should not be extreme, e.g. un-natural colours, shaved heads, tram lines etc.
No hair gel.
Safety
- Strictly no jewellery other than a wrist watch (no cellular enabled smart watches) should be worn.
- Children should not wear earrings to school – clear spacers for ear piercings can be worn
- Long hair must always be tied back
We are committed to adapting uniform where appropriate. However, all adaptations must be agreed with school.
