Our Gallery

Teddy's Nursery opened in September 2017 and provides education for children from their third birthday. The provision operates as a separate class with qualified teachers leading the learning. The nursery classroom is located in the old school hall and the children share an outdoor area with reception.

PE

We have two PE sessions, one on a Wednesday afternoon and the other is on a Friday morning in the school hall. The children take part in many gross motor movements including gymnastics and yoga.

Forest School

Forest school takes place every Thursday morning within the school grounds. We visit both forests in the setting at different times of the year. We explore the great outdoors and enjoy every season within the forest. We toast marshmallows in the forest and drink hot chocolate. We complete many activities within the forest including leaf kebabs, mud faces, den building and hide and seek etc.

Outdoor learning

We have an amazing outdoor area to explore. This year we have gained a new outdoor area which we share with reception. The resources available are exciting for the children. We spend time on the daily mile track where we can complete our exercise. There are many bikes and scooters to use around school including balance bikes and pedal bikes.
