Spring

We attended the swimming gala at West View leisure centre yesterday. Overall we came 4th in the gala. We won three medals. Bethany won gold in front crawl, Lucy M won silver in breast stroke and Lucy F won bronze in back crawl. A great event where the children performed with skill and speed.

The rugby team participated in the rugby tournament last week at UCLan. We played four games and won one out of the four. There was some close matches and the children kept playing all the way to the end. The children supported each other and worked hard as a team, well done!

The tag rugby team took part in the rugby league matches over the past few weeks. We got progressively more skilled as the weeks went on. We won some, lost some and made a draw. Some great tries scored from many of the children involved.

On Tuesday 31st January children in Year 2 took part in a mini skills tournament. All the children performed their skills with confidence and worked together as a team encouraging each other to try their best.
