Sculpture
LKS2
Children have used papier-mâché to create simple 3D bowls.
LKS2
After experimenting with different objects to see how texture could be added to malleable materials, the children created their own 3D skulls out of clay.

Children in LKS2 started their sculpture unit by exploring how sculpture has changed over time throughout some of the major historical time periods of art. They created a timeline to show the prehistoric sculptures made from animal bones up to the contemporary sculptures today made from a range of materials, including chocolate, recycled materials etc.
