Beech Class have been practising their maths skills by interacting with their environment.
In RE we have been thinking about all of the things that make us so special. We learnt that our names make us special.
I have written your name on the palms of my hands. (Isaiah 49:16)
We have been very busy learning about numbers 3, 4 and 5. We enjoyed collecting and counting natural materials in the orchard using one-to-one correspondence.
We have used thin and thick paintbrushes to create self-portraits and family portraits. We have carefully considered how to mix colours to make our skin, eye and hair colours. Here are a few examples of our fantastic work!
Here is a snapshot of our first week in Reception! One of our friends was very upset that one of bears she was playing with had gone missing. We decided to make wanted posters for the 'lost' teddy and then go on a bear hunt!
