Arts Week 2022

The theme of our Arts Week this year is ‘The Queen’s Jubilee’. 

Children across school have produced Jubilee-inspired artwork in a range of different disciplines for our whole-school gallery.

Children in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 all took part in drama workshops at Broughton High School, learning lines and dances from the Year 8 end of year performance. 

We were very honoured to take part in some music workshops with The Salvation Army.

LKS2 took part in workshops from the Church Choir. 

Year 3 used natural materials to create London-themed outdoor art.

Children in KS1 took part in a ‘Dance through the Ages’ workshop with each class learning a routine from a different era of the Queen’s reign. 

Elm class have been experimenting with paint for their display work. 

Children in Year 4 experimented with some digital effects in their artwork. 

Nursery painted Union Jack flags onto pebbles for our whole-school art gallery.
